Real3st Shooters Academy was founded through faith, perseverance, and purpose. Led by Christ, our founder was inspired to create this organization after living with service-connected disabilities, including Degenerative Joint Disorder (DJD) and arthritis, that made both standing and sitting for extended periods difficult. Through these challenges, a mission was born: to build a Christ-centered community of protectors, providers, and leaders dedicated to the responsible and skillful use of firearms and modern security tools.
A proud retired U.S. Army specialist and veteran, our founder served at Fort Benning, Georgia, and completed a tour in Kuwait, where he learned firsthand that sandstorms “aren’t for the weak.” The Army experience forged a love-and-hate relationship with service but one filled with gratitude for the lessons in discipline, leadership, and endurance. After sustaining knee injuries and fractures during physical training, he was medically discharged in 2015. Yet, the calling to serve never faded.
Since then, he has personally instructed over 60 individuals, from civilians to security professionals, in firearm safety, precision, and tactical awareness, maintaining a spotless record of zero incidents or accidents. His post-military career began in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as an Armed Security Officer, later protecting a high-value jewelry distribution center in Miami (2015–2017). His journey led him to carpentry and eventually back into federal security as a Lead Night Federal Security Officer for the CDC in Chamblee, Georgia. After serving as a head Supervisor of a Condominium in Tampa, FL, I couldn’t afford to keep hurting my body when we can do things more effectively. But no mission succeeds alone.
Real3st Shooters Academy exists because of the strength found in united veterans, law enforcement professionals, certified instructors, and everyday citizens standing together with shared values. This is not just a training organization; it is a brotherhood and sisterhood built on faith, accountability, and responsibility.
Real3st Shooters Academy is committed to proving that effective training does not require unnecessary physical strain, reckless methods, or ego-driven instruction. Instead, we train smarter, honoring the body, sharpening the mind, and strengthening the spirit. Through Christ-led leadership, adaptive instruction, and a servant’s heart, we equip individuals to protect life with purpose, discipline, and integrity.
Together, we are building more than skilled defenders; we are shaping leaders who are prepared, principled, and anchored in faith.
